I am hoping this is satire, but im also not 100% sure since there have been fans who legit want Arthur Smith as HC so I will never underestimate an individuals stupidity......

Flus is constantly blaming the players when things dont work out. Look at the play calling of the Lions vs the Bears on those last few drives. Goff throws 3 picks in the game and they still go to him to drive down the field to win it. There is no excuse to call for 2 straight runs up the middle with Herbert when 1) up to that point he was only averaging like 1 yard a carry and 2) Fields was averaging like 6 yards a run and like 8 yards per attempt. They shouldve done some RPO on those drives vs the bullshit they ended up calling. And the Lions knew exactly what the bears were going to do. Flus cant out-coach a HS coach at this point.
If we draft Calb Williams, i will support him 100% just like i have any other Bears QB. That being said, there is no denying Caleb has had a bit of a "diva" personality and it has rubbed people the wrong way. Its similar to seeing someone like TO cry vs someone like DJ Moore doing it. Whether that is fair or not is another discussion, but thats what it is. Fields has never been considered the type of personality Caleb has. Id love to see Caleb play for Chicago and paint on his nails "Fuck GB" but at the same time when you do something like that your play needs to back it up. And that type of personality is fine, but you have to be able to accept the good with the bad.
This loss solidified Flus position as the worst coach in the league. Mostly because the other bad coaches have better records than him (minus Reich). Staley, Reich, and Rivera are probably the only other coaches guaranteed to be done after this year, and maybe Reich is the only one who i would say is definitely worse (and he almost beat the Bears last week!) It is going to be hard to judge any of our players for the rest of the year when this dipshit of a coaching staff continues to scheme the way they do. I have seen enough to know there is no way in hell Flus and company should be back next year.

Rivera and Bowles would be my choice of fired HC turned DC. Bowles has proven to be a great DC and the last time Rivera was our DC we went to a super bowl so theres that lol. I want no one from the Cover 2 coaching tree.
Id almost be interested in doing what the Texans did with trading back UP for Will Anderson. Call the Pats and see about trading up to take MHJ after taking Caleb. I dont see the Pats taking MHJ at 3 at that point and can see them trading down in the draft to get more picks and take a QB later in the first. But if it shakes out like that i wont complain about getting the best O lineman in the draft. And as for having first overall pick, i think we take a QB with it. Only way i dont see us picking a QB is if Panthers win a few more games and our first pick is with Maye and Williams off the board.
The Panthers look BAD. Nothing i saw from Bryce Young yesterday wowed me. Tyson looked like the better QB since both were missing throws. Not a good sign for a #1 overall pick. Jenkins seemed to have a bad game he was getting tossed around. But it happens i think it was just one of those games. Overall we looked like a really bad team that barely beat and even worse team. Nothing much to hang our hats on besides the fact that the Panthers are probably getting us the first overall pick this year.
