I'm re-playing it right now, and it's great.

Not on Steam, it's World of Warcraft, specifically the MoP Remix mode. That was some of the most fun I ever had in the game.

On Steam, maybe Lies of P. I played a few great games, but honestly I didn't really play any GotY material this year on there.

As a certified Trails hater, I hope they make some major changes to the story, so it might be actually good.

The only one I know that might fit the bill (not really) is Pillars 1. When you've done a lot of the side content, you'll be overleveled, and in the final act the game asks you if enemies should get scaled to your level, so there's still a challenge. But that's still optional and you're not forced to do it.

Yeah, but for those people there's the Easy Mode. Also, this "Head Start" mode isn't doing much at the end, when you might need the help the most.

NVIDIA bad and all that, but people are running the overlay, Shadowplay, filters, and whatnot and are shocked, that their performance is lower.

Was about to be pissed, since I just re-played the game, but then I read the patch notes, and it really doesn't do anything.

There's already an Easy Mode, if you just want to cruise through the game. Also, I'm gonna be honest, if you're just speeding through the cutscenes, why even play the game, that's basically the main thing. Better watch the cutscenes on Youtube, so you don't have to play through some of the terrible sequences.

A bit more World of Warcraft. I got most of the anniversary items I want, now I'll do some more achievements.

Then I started Windblown, the next game from the Dead Cells devs. I guess it's coop, isometric Dead Cells. It's very fun, but I feel harder than Dead Cells. I finished my first run today, and the end was pretty nerve wracking. As for the coop part, that seems pretty dead right now. The game's in Early Access, so that doesn't help, but I only ever a saw a single open lobby. I might check it out a bit more, now that I have won once.

Then I was about to re-play Disco Elysium, but got sick again, and was in no mood for any story games (which I why I started Windblown). Maybe this week, maybe next, but definitely this year.

Also, pretty good timing with me re-playing FF7R last week, since Rebirth is coming to PC end of January. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm waiting for the remaster, that combines both games into one.

Neat, just played through the Palace of Ice DLC of the first game and look forward to the sequel.

The first game can be a bit janky at times, and the writing a bit iffy, but the combat was always fun.

I'm really looking forward to this. Also, just in time, since I re-played the first one last week.

Ori and the Blind Forest which I enjoyed, although I was expecting a metroidvania

What genre do you think the game belongs to? Just a normal platformer?

I would say, while combat is not the focus in the game, it still has all the trappings of a metroidvania.
