I use my iPhone for multiple hours a day for work and play. I don't have a single issue.

You see, it isn't pedantry when still nobody knows what the question is.

I don't think OP's question wasn't about browsing anything, particularly as they won't clarify.

I think what they actually meant to ask was 'Can a Watch connect to the internet without my iPhone physically with me?' to which the answer is yes, as long as you get the cellular version.

What does 'browse the internet' mean?

The BBC is funded by a licence fee that is paid by people in the UK, so it's only available within the UK.

Easily the square.

Firefox, because I use it on my Mac and I want the sync.

To everyone who has posted 'Android has this' or 'Been on Android for years' etc.

So what?

This is a sub about iPhone and this post specifically says it's their favourite iPhone feature.

Take your school playingground whining elsewhere.

My ISP quite regularly boosts its maximum offer (fibre). Until a couple of years ago I kept upgrading but honestly this is as fast as I need it.

I think they now offer double but a) it's expensive and b) it wouldn't actually get me anything much better other than downloading AAA games in 10 minutes instead of 20.
