Google has so far kept their software update promises for Pixel phones with no issues.

Sounded great at first, but 15 monthly hours is pretty terrible TBH. Not even an hour a day?

Yes, it's fun. It's a videogame. In your edit, you correctly identify the game as a power fantasy, as probably 80% of video games ultimately are. The consequences do exist in the story and lore, you do get into debt with your ripperdoc, lose your car for part of the game and almost lose your apartment. But they're ultimately not of huge consequence, because being in debt for most of the game wouldn't be very fun and is not the focus of the game. Your suggestion to have more consequences for driving is better than the "no cars" you originally proposed, but the systems would have to be well thought out. Just losing money for driving would not be a fun or interesting system. The developers ultimately put their focus on other aspects of the game, like the combat, cyberware and story, and I'm fine with that as I personally do really like the game.

The whole point of Cyberpunk's setting is that it's a capitalist hellscape. The corpos don't care about the environment or setting up a nice public transport network. And of course there is also the gameplay perspective, riding a train in a videogame gets very boring very quickly.

Nach Verkaufszahlen.

If you see 10 posts monthly, you're probably just subscribed to very inactive communities. Personally I don't really see the need for Lemmy to become as big as reddit though. When you get hundreds of posts a minute, individual voices get pretty much drowned out. If we can sustain a smaller, but less toxic, community than reddit, I think that's preferrable. By which I don't mean that there isn't room for growth still, there definitely is, especially for some of the smaller, more specialized communities.

On German Netflix, they have all the Star Trek shows except for Picard, SNW and Lower Decks. I think they bought the rights before Paramount+ was launched in Germany, which was only a couple months ago.

Don't know how, but my shared Netflix account is still working without issues. That said, once it stops working, I probably won't subscribe again any time soon. I'm currently only using it to watch TNG a couple times a week anyway. I also have Spotify, found no reason to cancel that so far.

I blocked them and it's definitely an improvement.
