Because they've done it many times in the past? Wii, WiiU, Gameboy series, DS series all had backwards compatibility.

Ja, es ist im Artikel. Nur diesen Absatz zu zitieren reflektiert aber nicht die Gesamtaussage des Artikels, eher im Gegenteil.
Guter Artikel, aber vielleicht solltest du ihn nochmal lesen, denn mit deinem Tl;DR machst du genau das, was der Artikel kritisiert: Die Beweise herauspicken die zu deiner Überzeugung passen. Die ganze Message des Artikels ist es, dass man aktuell keine gesicherte Aussage treffen kann wer verantwortlich ist und man das deswegen auch nicht tun sollte.
Die einzige Hoffnung die ich für die Partei habe, ist dass sie vielleicht der AfD ein paar Stimmen wegnimmt und sich als nicht ganz so rassistische Partei für Schwurbler, "Protestwähler" usw etabliert. Wäre auch schön, wenn mit dem Abzug der Wagenknechtfraktion die Linke irgendwann wieder zu einer wählbaren Partei wird.
That's actually a surprisingly honest thing to say ahead of launch. How bad it'll be performance-wise will depend on what their targets were I guess. I'll play this at launch, but only because it's on gamepass.
What does that have to do with Nintendo using it in their games? That's Irdeto who decided to offer their DRM for Switch developers. As far as I can tell Nintendo is not involved in it, beyond presumably giving their OK.

Biologically speaking, there are no races. It's ultimately just an arbitrary classification that can change entirely on people's preconceptions. For example 100+ years ago, Irish people were often seen as not white by Americans.

I doubt Nintendo will put Denuvo in any of their games, they've always been very mindful of their games being playable even without an internet-connected Switch.
I don't know why so many places report on this like it's noteworthy that a (mostly) 2d Switch game can be emulated well.
