Yes, the team behind Yuzu and Citra is disbanding, so Citra is being discontinued. But it's an open-source project under a GPL license, so other developers can maintain their own version of it.

Both Yuzu and Citra are still available on the Discover Store, or at least they were when I checked ~12 hours ago. I don't think Emudeck will uninstall it, they certainly aren't required to.
Don't see why it would. The settlement doesn't affect other developers and never even concerned Citra.
Whatsapp is ubiquitous in my country, so while I try to use Signal with as many people as I can, I do use Whatsapp at least every couple days. Never had Instagram or Threads. I have an inactive facebook account.
Actually checked my Facebook feed recently out of curiosity. It's amazing how dead it is these days. I could scroll for ages and none of the posts were from people on my friends list, or even pages I liked. Everything was just generic shit.
I'm on the same pre-paid plan since 2005 or so.
The Skull and Bones beta motivated me to start a second playthrough of Assassin's Creed Black Flag, 10 years after my first one. Having a blast, it's honestly even better than I remembered and runs great on the Steam Deck.
I was downvoted before for suggesting the Pinetab is not a viable Android or iPad replacement. That thing doesn't even have a working wifi driver yet, you have to plug in a dongle just to connect to wifi. I'd love to have good smart devices running Linux one day, but we're not there yet.
They have historic ties and Israel is an important strategic ally in the middle east for the US.
Heh, kinda, but it's basically just a way to save taxes. The 50€ I get on there each month are legally considered "non-cash benefits", which aren't taxed.
I often buy these for myself, as my workplace gives me a "bonus" credit card that can only be used at shops in the region.
Infinite progressivism is not a thing that can exist. While growth is a number, which can theoretically stretch to infinity, progressivism is a political ideology with stated goals. Those may shift over time but there's no infinite progressive path to follow.
The strategies that Nintendo used for suing Yuzu wouldn't really work for Citra, as it's not a current system and doesn't even require a firmware/keys. Doubt Nintendo will bother either, they never did for older systems.
