Fast so als wollte man das Problem gar nicht effektiv bekämpfen, da es sich ja wunderbar für populistische Zwecke und die Ausweitung von Überwachungsmaßnahmen nutzen lässt.

Yes, the company is called Wilk Elektronik and their production facility is in Łaziska Górne, Poland, which they've also recently expanded to focus on more products aside from RAM modules. Not every single component in their SSDs will come from Europe, but the final production is European.
I guess it probably says something about my own age that I don't consider the Steam Deck to be anywhere near an old system.
I live right next to the black forest, so I'm privileged to have a lot of nice natural areas nearby. One of my favorite places is a secluded forest hut, which I can reach in about 45 minutes with my MTB. It has a nice view over the surrounding mountains with no other buildings or roads in sight. Once spent a few hours there waiting for thunderstorms to pass, which was a strangely calming experience.
I don't think there are any European companies manufacturing HDDs themselves. Some, for example German Intenso, sell HDDs under their name, but the actual manufacturer will be a different one. For SSDs, there's Swissbit and Goodram.
Nope, as that one wasn't a Switch exclusive. Released for WiiU on the same day.
I don't think it's possible to test this at the moment as there's no actual game out right now that uses both HDR and 120Hz at the same time.
I broadly agree, but I'll add that knockout tour is where the game and its open world design really shines. That should probably be considered the main mode for this game rather than grand prix. I hope that they'll add a 3-lap "classic grand prix" mode at some point. The world in free roam does feel quite empty unfortunately.
My thoughts are that they should wear whatever the fuck they want to the beach.
That's almost every console launch ever though. Switch 1 had an even weaker launch lineup when it comes to exclusives.

I've never experienced real poverty. Poorest I've been was the first month working at my first job. I had spent most of my money moving there and I think I had about 200€ on my bank account at the beginning of the month. Had to be frugal for a while but it was manageable.
