I had a double lung transplant..

A simple cold could send my lungs into rejection. I think I will remain "extremely excessive".

They took YEARS to redesign the Android app. They missed their promise deadline at least twice.

Now they are finally rewriting their Android app to be on par with their iOS app, but who knows how many years that'll take.

It's already been 8 months since they said they were rewriting it, and still haven't released anything, despite aiming for summer. Not to mention they're already planning on shipping a half baked version whenever they finally do..

As discussed in the January update, Android will require more work as we are rewriting more of the application, with a big focus on performance and stability. This means some Android features you have requested for Mail are not in our immediate scope for delivery. In particular, conversation view (also known as threading view) won’t make it into the first version of the new Android app, but we hope to deliver it soon after release. Thank you to everyone using the beta Android app for the helpful feedback you have sent us. We hope to be able to release the new Android app to everyone before the summer.

That's the worst thing about Proton AP. You pay a premium to wait like chumps. Not to mention they nickle and dime you for everything! I can't use Proton Pass with my expensive business plan, because they want me to pay even MORE to access it. Meanwhile BitWarden is like $1 per month.

Obviously if only one person is wearing a mask and not the other(s), it's less effective, but it's still VERY effective.

I've properly masked up, along with my girlfriend, since the beginning, and neither of us have gotten COVID yet.

We've been to weddings, conferences, shows, events, friends, families, shopping, etc. and we are still good. Even places where people have tested positive after, and we're still good.

People have a weird perception that visiting family and friends is safe, but if your family and friends don't mask up, they're opening you up to thousands if not hundreds of thousands of potential exposure in their day to day life.

We are also extra cautious about sanitizing our hands when removing or putting the mask on, we don't shove our masks in our pocket, we shower as soon as we get home, and we wipe down our groceries to prevent any germs. Colds and flus can last 24 hours on surfaces, so we treat COVID the same way. Actually, we treat COVID as if it lasts 3 days on surfaces.

The biggest issue is people don't protect themselves properly. Chewing your fingernails in the grocery store, or bringing your dirty ass phone home and not wiping it down when you get in the door is keeping the spread going.

My old landlord refused to fix our water heater, the leaking roof causing mould and water damage, the outlets that were falling off, the broken light switches that didn't work, the ceiling light that was flickering and and literally hanging by the wires. All for $2000/month + utilities. Then he kicked us out because he wanted to sell the place, but now he can't sell it because no bank will touch it with the amount of water damage it has lmao.

Oh ya, can't forget the 5 times he's banged on our door threatening us with his lawyer because he stole $100 from us, we asked for it back, but he refused to answer our calls, so we had to wait 12 fucking months before our lease was up and we started paying month to month for us to subtract the $100 he owed us for 12 months from the payment.

I dropped off because I am unbelievably sick of seeing the same thing posted across 20 different communities. No matter which sort I am using, my front page is CLUTTERED with the same crap.

I just got mine in Canada. Asked the pharmacist if they have the new shot that helps protect against the latest strain and they said not yet.

Why are you acting like it's so difficult? Lol

I assumed America before I even read it.

The fact you have 8 downvotes is insane. People truly are piece of shit in this world.

Never stopped wearing them. COVID never went away.

I did both, but I wanted my email removed from their system. I hate my spam box being filled up if I can help it.

They should invent filters that you can put over your body parts that help stop transmission of COVID.

So they aren't happy with having their community echo chamber on Lemmy if it means they can't harass others who don't share their views? I don't really get it.
