lmfao. Really can't make this up.

I never said they should HAVE to watch porn. I said they should be ALLOWED.
Your comment just goes to show further how Americans view sex as bad lmao.
Nothing wrong with porn. Not my fault Americans think that porn is real. Bet you also think horror movies are real, too, eh? All those innocent people killed!
You do realize that amateur porn exists, right? Where people film themselves with their iPhone. None of the production shit.
That’s cool, but some people prefer to buy their games. To either show support
YouTube sucks, but I don't want them to die. The insane amount of educational videos on there would be lost. I can pull up a video on how to repair a certain electronic, uploaded 14 years ago, where the uploader is MIA, but it still helped me fix my issue.
Not to mention any other service that tries to replicate YouTube will 100% have crazier monetization, with potential forced subscription. YouTube was built up slowly. Any new service will have to launch knowing potential billions of users will sign up and upload day 1. How do you even prepare for that? I mean shit, when new games launch, like Call of Duty, every fucking year the servers are flaky for a week+. They never learn.
I would, but my mobile app doesn't allow me to block them at account level, and instead only app level.
I get a TON of hate community/instances; foreign community/instances that aren't in my language or anywhere near my country; and then the same community spread out across 20 instances, so I have to subscribe to all of them (as neither of them are super active), and then deal with the massive amount of duplicate posting.
I'm here, but barely. I've not went back to Reddit (got IP banned during the migration), but Lemmy is too focused on certain topics for me to enjoy it.
Mainly FOSS and Linux community FLOCKED to Lemmy. You really can't say anything about anything without people coming out of the woods screaming about how stupid you are, how FOSS is better, and Linux is superior.
Remember the backlash over Sync for Lemmy? Massive hate from the Lemmy community because it wasn't FOSS. Wouldn't be shocked if the Boost for Lemmy dev stopped developing his app after seeing that. I feel like Lemmy is shooting itself in the foot and pushing people away.
EDIT: case in point. https://lemmy.ca/comment/3131292
10 year olds should be allowed to watch porn. If you're seeking it out, it's fine (as opposed to people showing you). That's how you learn about your body.
Only America has a weird obsession over sex = bad. In Europe, they have shows dedicated to dating based on if you like their genitals.
The 8 people that downvoted you are the type of people that love cancel culture.
Ashton was shitty defending his friend. Ashton does not deserve the backlash he is receiving for the exact reasons you describe.
Then again, Lemmy was up in arms over the LTT situation, and all of my comments saying "hey, lets wait to hear both sides" were HEAVILY downvoted.
Yes, they announced it at Google IO. They also added the ability for your phone to automatically notify you if an air tag is following you.

Here's one of the many products that you can buy, that automatically work with the new Android tracker system.
That's cool, but some people prefer to buy their games. To either show support, to track their hours/achievements, or the biggest one is to easily receive updates without having to scavenge the web to find an update patch.
Did you read the article?
Ya, Android does this, but tell me how I get my phone to auto sync to my PC to display messages, photos, etc, and then detect when I take a screenshot, so windows can immediately offer to edit the screenshot?
Currently the only way to do it is to transfer your screenshot to your PC manually, then open it, edit it, and then do whatever you wanted with the screenshot on your PC. A million more steps.
Or, you can buy products. If you don't like what they do, just don't buy them.
I am not even defending Denuvo. I will not be buying this game. Pirating it also supports them, because if you talk about the game, show your friends, stream it, upload screenshots/videos, etc, you're potentially getting others, who refuse to pirate, to buy the game.
If you don't like what the company is doing, don't play it.
