It's nice to see the Reddit tradition still alive. Where you post something out of context to make sure your agenda is pushed.

Do it. All creators I like will finally jump ship, because there's 0 reason to post about your new video, merch launch, etc. to only paying members.

One day Americans will realize literally no one thinks about them. The best you have is a handful of Canadians and Mexicans, but even then it's just a handful.

European countries don't care about you. They quite literally don't think about you.

I don't really care to hear Americans fight over Trump/Biden like children for 4 years. Oh wait, it's been more than 4 years, and they are still bitching about Trump.

Doesn't concern me. Hit me up when you're actually discussing politics that matter.

Americans are really annoying. They ruin the internet with their ability to turn ANYTHING and EVERYTHING into American politics. Even if it's about a cat on the opposite side of the world.

My favourite is posting a comment and having someone say "you voted for Biden, didn't you?". Nah, bro, I stepped foot in your country once and was mugged at gun point. I will never be back, let alone a fucking citizen of that shit hole.

The machine learning built into these softwares aren't as great as they can be, because you're usually running them on low powered hardware.

I run Immich, and it gets results like this wrong.

Google photos, on the other hand, is insane. I can type in anyone's name, and it'll pull up photos of them when they were a baby, despite those photos being scanned in and have no meta data connection. Also pulls up videos with them inside.

I can search for any text, item, and even break it down to a very specific search such as "blue car with black hood", or, "James and Jack at the beach", and it'll show me photos with both James AND Jack only at the beach.

It's flipping nuts. Hard to compare to some free machine learning half baked into a free open source photo gallery maintained by half a guy, built to run on a raspberry Pi.

Mullvad. No other companies come close.

If it doesn't work for Apple TV because of their weird ass walled garden bullshit, run it router-wide 👍🏻

You're honestly turning this into a weird negative thing? Better security by having two people review the code vs just one is a bad thing to you?

Alright.

Linux/FOSS Bros are ruining it for me more and more every day.

Not even with my comments, but others. I'm so sick of seeing basic comments extremely downvoted because "ThaTs NoT OpeN sOurCe".

Like a post a was reading a few minutes ago about Microsoft Paint being updated, and someone said it was Windows 11 exclusive, and the other guy said Windows 11 isn't half bad. The comment is super downvoted, because Linux best, Windoze BAD!

You're going to drive away people who just want to have a conversation if you guys don't learn how to be normal, holy shit. I'm a tech bro and you're driving ME away.
