In school when I realized that the people who copied homework and cheated in exams could get the same grades as me with a quarter of the effort + everyone else gave you shit if you told on them and the teacher still didn’t change their grade because you have no proof.

Hasn’t Britain always been like this? Are people generally upset about this or just a vocal online minority? I mean I would never support something like this but if the people support it well, it’s their will.

Humans literally evolved to use tools, it’s like asking a tiger to hunt without using their claws. Taking tools away from humans is not making them equal to the animal they are hunting, it’s handicapping them.

If you want to make them equal then the fight is 1 v 1 and the human has tools.

I don’t think they’ve ever actually done anything? Terrorism, legally, has a very precise definition. If you simply start calling orgs terrorists because they are adversarial, you set the precedent for legal political persecution at levels that not even Trump and co dares to do. Put simply, it goes against the very founding principles.

The simplicity isn’t a problem itself, I just think it looks kinda dated. It’s probably the fonts and the flatness of everything combined with thin strokes.

I think changing their typography choices would improve a lot honestly.

But nothing bad to say about the actual usability, it’s good. I’m just overly critical of visual design.

I know that’s the rational thing to think, but the reality is that they often don’t leave anyways. Look at Europe, they have billionaires too and they don’t leave despite being taxed higher than Us billionaires. Also a further reality is that the billionaires are not really citizens of any nation, they are highly mobile and probably spend time evenly in various countries. They already have their money well spread out.

The founding fathers basically solved this issue through the electoral college, you’re not supposed to be voting for the president, you’re supposed to be voting for the people who will elect the president. But that’s all gone to shit, proving Hamilton’s warnings about populism extremely prescient.

What the fuck type mentality is this? Jesus fuck, might as well just take all media away from people and not let them take any decisions ever, they are clearly not to be trusted with any freedom.
