Why must the market go standalone? Mobile processing power won't be even close to good enough for a long time, I would like some more high-end tethered options such as the Bigscreen Beyond
Player2
Interesting, I have been able to use it for code no problem. They even support different language types to add colors automatically.
Logseq, kept up to date on all my devices with Syncthing
I am shocked, aghast even
I haven't had any problems, the only limitation is that you have to wait 4 months since the last one. No age limits (US east coast)
I think most people don't actually want organ and brain damage, even if they consider putting a cloth on their face to prevent that way too much effort.
Note that the OP specifically said crowded indoor locations. That still allows for face looking outdoors, and helps promote public health.
It also takes a whole lot more energy and water to manufacture paper bags rather than plastic. I personally use synthetic reusable bags that will probably outlive me whenever possible.
I have been using Thumb Key for a few months and while I generally like it, I have not been able to figure out how to remove things like the voice typing, pasting, and undo shortcuts. Every so often I accidentally hit undo while typing, which just erases my whole message irrecoverably since my other thumb hit the next key right after. I wish I could remove all those swipe controls on the side altogether since I never use them.
It's a pattern that will feel more natural the more you use it
I'll hate on Windows all day, but Task Manager is very useful and lightweight, I like it a lot
I don't know. I really don't like the idea of carrying around a whole other computer an well as tracking cameras and a battery on your face when using the headset in tethered mode. The opposite of that is exactly what I like about the Beyond: strip away absolutely everything you can in order to optimize for tethered usage.
