This sounds more like a firmware issue, even if the crashing app is causing continual Bluetooth reconnects. How is a life critical hardware device not configured in a way that allows it to run without an app in a safe way!?!?

Well I’ll add D-Link to my ‘never buy’ list. Not just for their crappy response, but for the poor security practices used in a networked product in the first place!
