Did you see the new BOM website they're working on? Kinda neat: https://beta.bom.gov.au/
Pilk
For all we know a City of Melbourne employee installed a free trial 10 years ago using their work email. That tends to be how these logo showcases work.
Oh so what will you eat tomorrow?
The press release from today clarifies some important points:
- The trial is about how the service is implemented, not whether the service will become a feature of the Victorian health service. i.e. It will become a permanent part of Victoria's health response to drugs (as long as a non-regressive government is in power one assumes).
- There will be a fixed site "located in an inner Melbourne area close to nightlife and transport" set up around mid-2025, as well as site testing at festivals this summer.
- Legislation will be amended so the service, its staff and its clients won't be breaking the law.
- Police will be consulted to establish a fair and feasible arrangement that doesnβt deter people from using the service.
Crazy how in the other place threads about world events get swarmed overnight when most of us are asleep. Really makes you think.
Why was Our Kylie at your dad's work Christmas party?
You're a monoball I see
I fell asleep to this the other day by accident:
Phone, keys, ear buds, reusable bag.
Haven't carried a wallet around in years.
Coles has a house brand surface sanitiser with blueberries on the label, boy it really do be smelling strongly of blueberries.
Even first-hand! My current laptop is a beast that I guess got rejected from a big tech company (still had their name on the shipping label underneath). Brand new and more than 50% off RRP. Only downside is it's polycarbonate and I'm use to fancy metal but I had to snap it up.
Oh yeah it says "The Bureau" on mobile hahaha
