You're fine. It's a voluntary recall, they were pretty much forced to do one by the cpsc but the boards are working as intended. They've also released a firmware update that makes the board vibrate and make a noise as an additional safety measure. (Keep in mind this cannot be disabled under normal circumstances so if you already know how to ride safely you should consider if you want to install the new firmware or not)

Of course always wear at least a helmet and wristguards when riding.

Wasn't the accusation that he had a device in his shoe, and the buttplug thing was just a joke that got out of hand?

The second back to the future movie even turns the villain into a trump-like megalomaniac

Fair, but a contract can't overrule actual laws. I'm not sure what exactly those are or where OP lives but if the law says he'd be entitled to that money then a contract couldn't change anything.

Stopping development of the game without meeting certain conditions might be breach of contract and come with quite a sum, but I'm just guessing at this point. Either way it sounds like it'd be a nightmare in paperwork and would sour their reputation

saying nuclear and coal both suck is kind of like saying both a plate of shit and a plate of overcooked brussels spouts would suck to eat for dinner. In theory I don't like either but one is significantly worse.

At least with nuclear waste it's not loosely scattered in the atmosphere, doesn't have a harmful effect as long as it's properly stored, and in the future we will likely have better ways to deal with it.

They're fishing for people who think it's important to have one because YouTube sponsorships told them so.

As a Belgian I put in a good chunk of my savings. I don't have a mind for finance and investments so it's a win win. As close to a no risk investment as you're gonna get, no need to keep an eye on it, and helps the state.
