The EU has reduced their fossil fuel imports from Russia by almost 90% since 2022. India has increased theirs by more than 10 times in the same timeframe.

You think the EU should keep mouth shut when someone is making a giant mess and helping their friend break into your house because there is some dust in the corner?

Whataboutism is never an argument.

Yes blame India. Also blame everyone else for their heinous actions.

Incineration, even in advanced plants like in Japan releases toxic fumes and is bad for people and environment. It also doesn’t address the issue of microplastics being released during the production and use of plastics. Let’s just stop it at the source.

Depends on whether you live in the US or EU I guess.

American revolutionists would like to have a word... And even though after the French revolution times were bad you can ask yourself whether they would have been any better off if the revolution hadn't occurred. Even if the French themselves weren't better off, fear of revolution triggered other authoritarian monarchs, like the Dutch king to agree to massive reforms. It's not always a simple A-leads-to-B connection.

This is all wishful thinking. I’m way past the stage of EU leaders having a spine. In a perfect –or much better than ours– world, this could happen. Not in ours. European leaders won’t even properly defend against an invasion in their own continent. They can’t even find consensus on whether to condemn the Israeli regime’s actions. I’m just thinking of saving lives here. Justice is too much to ask in this sick world.

The only good option for relocation is Egypt, but as of yet, they are not willing to take in Gazan refugees. Relocation of Gazans also means Israel would get away with genocide and have their cake too. But something clearly needs to be done. The suffering is immense.
