Sounds like a brilliant church.

Partly for the banging signs, but mainly for showing the rugby whenever Wales are playing. 11/10 venue A++++ would visit again

Large coffees in a coffee shop are about the same price as a pint these days so you might as well.

Unless you've got the motor of course, then don't be a dafty.

Maybe I'm just showing my age but I felt a bit of a gut punch when I asked for two large coffees at the till, and a tenner wasn't enough to cover them. Fuck me.

This is like one of those two-line horror stories.

The economy is coming from inside the building!

A friend of mine got a phone call at daft o'clock one evening from his son who hadn't turned up home.

"Dad, can you pick me up from the city centre please?"

Bear in mind that he lived in a smaller town 40 miles or so from the city; on a bus route that spanned two cities about 90 miles apart.

Turns out that he had been taught how to board a bus; ask for a ticket; pay; and take a seat... but never learned how to leave a bus.

His dad was understandably pissed off, having been kicked out of bed at midnight to do a near two-hour round trip drive to pick his lad up. He asking him why he hadn't pushed the bell to signal the driver to stop.

"I thought they were just emergency stop buttons, and because I told the driver where I was going when I got the ticket, I thought he would stop for me... and when he didn't, I just sat and waited until the end of the line".

Poor soul.

To "do someone's legs" is to undermine someone to the point where they have lost their credibility. It can be something like pointing out gaping holes in their argument so their position becomes untenable.

Getting "a bit gobby" in this instance is someone who is somewhat overconfident and is trying to make themselves sound cleverer than they actually are. It's derived from "gob" - the slang term for a mouth - and can also mean someone who talks non-stop, or someone who adopts controversial viewpoints in inappropriate social situations just to get a reaction out of folk.

I'm not Flynn's biggest fan but it is true that he gives very few fucks. I've seen him do the legs of interviewers who are getting a bit gobby so this is right up his street.

Good on him.

Like Wreckfest, but with wings and maps.

Sounds like a laugh.

Absolute lad.

Longer next time, or faster.

The road to banging quads starts here.

Yeah but the weather's nice isn't it. Suns oot, taps aff, might as well go and join a radgey outside a golf course.

edit: this sounds like I'm being flippant, I'm not. Crack on boys and girls, go wild

I get it, it's still jarring though. I get that an LGBTQI+ mag would want to promote his sexuality to prove visibility of senior civil servants or G-men or whatever the US calls them, but it just feels like a qualifier that shouldn't be necessary.

Happy to learn otherwise though, I'm open to opinions.

So..

...even though the battery light was a bright red, I saved the game and it crashed. Now the save is predictably in a broken format and can't be read (at least without extra hardware).

I was rather enjoying my 10hr game, just before the SS Anne and grinding my 'karp to a Gyarados, with a recently evolved Sandslash.

I can see that there are save editors for use, but does anyone know if there are save builders - that put you in a particular location at a particular level with progression flags automatically set to your point in the story?

I can't say I'm big in to Pokémon lore - my introduction to the series was with Go - so some of the intricacies are beyond me but I'll faff with editors if I need to and import them into an Android emulator if it comes to that.

Thanks in advance!
