1/5th want no or fewer kids... so 4/5 were pushing forward like normal.
Microsoft is buying up companies to stockpile IP. Simple as that.
Then they have a lot of redundant workers so they let them go, leaving the IP in their hands to be filed away for potential lawsuits against infringers.
Remember when reddit used to have great AMAs to look forward to? Or when askreddit wasn't all sex questions from 13 year old kids? Or when wtf was actually wtf content? Ah the good old days.
I dunno, I enjoyed the overboard in #2. Movie 3 he actually did dial back quite a bit since 2 didn't sell very well. 3 felt a lot closer to 1.

I wish for the Horizon (Zero Dawn) series to have that kind of luck with good story/writing, acting, and FX... then I always remember that it's Netflix making it and get disappointed every time.
