200 hours to complete...... you never finish an x game. I generally finish when my computer can't keep up anymore.

One of the best economic systems in a single player space game that I have come across.

I would highly recommended finding other sources of joy. Buying things has been proven again and again to just give small bursts of happiness that quickly fade, this is the cycle these corporations often feed on.

Look into cheap hobbies you can do. Recovering from getting used to these small hits of joy isn't always easy, but it will give you back more control of your life. I'm not perfect at this myself but I am much more aware of it and able to say no in the majority of my life.

You could also look into Minimalisim, there are some interesting ideas in there to be adopted, even if you don't eat the whole pie.

Cutting down native forrests for firewood is stupid IMO. If I knew the hardwood firewood I buy to go camping came from such a source I wouldn't do it.

Firewood even for heating ones home should be limited to plantation logs, or as others mentioned dead wood on someones property. We aren't a few thousand people trying to survive the harsh Australian winter anymore, our choice impact this planet.

America can't afford to lose Taiwan, they make too many semi conductors.

From my understanding they are one of a very few handful of places that can make the chips that are being used in training the current AI. Taiwan is one of the main ones.

Haven't cloned sheep been a thing for decades? I'm sure some dark corner goverment lab in America, China, or Russia surely tried it on a person. Teenage Putin gonna pop up as soon as Putin dies.

They own 50% of the company but they do not get a seat on the board. From my understanding that was a big part of OpenAI accepting the deal.

The stock price will fall if we don't make more money then we did last year.

  • But why?

Because we are legally obliged to do what is best for shareholder, or they can sue us.

  • Right so the company needs to make more money again and again and again until the company or the world dies

About sums it up

That is why farms setup around volcanoes. If it was worth it to mine the ash wouldn't it have been done well before?

Maybe I am too pessamistic about new miricale cues

This has to have other effects.

How available is that carbon to microbes, are they missing out on their own source of carbon?

What other minerals are in the volcanic ash that will potentially mess with the complex balance of minerals in the soil.

How much green house gas is made in the mining and proccessing of this volcanic ash.

Sounds to me like some ones land near a volcano got errupted on and they are trying to find a way to make money from it.

Amazing this was posted 4 days after the in person voting..... how is an Aussie meant to make an informed choice when the data comes after the voting day?
