Hot take: I hate when software just extracts an executable.
Fucking install it so that it's registered with the software updater and uninstaller. Don't make me remember that I have to go hunting in the folder to delete this one app.

Bro youve just described appetizers in general ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Imo we should go a step up from that:

Communities should define their own categories, and identify certain categories as CW.
Then clients could opt to auto-hide/blur those categories, and provide per-category overrides.

Last time I tried to post something, using voyager, I didn't even see the option to flag as NSFW, idk if it's community specific or if this client simply doesn't support it.

They only really cover Nova Scotian news, so I wasn't sure if we'd care to include it, but Saltwire was included so I figured I'd mention it ๐Ÿ‘

You'd need to be able to submit the form for that to do anything lol

I was expecting to see another Loss meme

A good replacement for Saltwire is the Halifax Examiner.

I wouldn't know, I've never made a bad purchase in my life and I'll fight you if you say otherwise ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I'm not really an expert.
Tapas are like dim sum, a category of sharable appetizers, rather than a specific dish

Imo this is a failing of Lemmy itself. There needs to be a way to tag content under certain (community-specific?) categories, without needing to put a bunch of shit in the title.

Chorizo, tapas, and paella are all pretty popular and well known.

I should have included Greece on that list, it's food is more well know in North America.

Cannes and Nice are apparently the only places in France with real food ๐Ÿคฃ
