Bottom 5 qb

Mid to whatever rbs

Solid wr1, trash everything else

Mid te

Bottom 10 ol

Bottom 10 dl

Mid lbs

Mid secondary

Coaching is one of many problems. Remember when you guys thought our lije was going to be fixed when we got rid of nagy because you heard the word scheme for the first time

Stop assuming everything would be perfect if one thing just changed. You don't earn the #1 pick by being a talented team. You don't take the #1 pick and 100 mil in cap and stay a bottom 5 team because you're a talented team.

I mean, they beat the Steelers 2 years later to end their playoff win drought.

Then they ran baker out of town to pick up a rapist and are wasting a super bowl caliber defense.

It very much did good in the long term.

Imagine reading criticism of fields play and thinking that's defending getsys play calling.

These have been issues across every year of fields play. Fields isn't the only qb with a bad oc and a bad line and whatever other excuses you want to cling to.

Getsy, eberflus, and poles should be fired. Fields should be backup unless some other gm is dumb enough to offer a 2nd. The new gm and hc should pick whoever they believe is the best qb in next years draft.

Why his stats are bad is because he's an inaccurate qb who can't read nfl defenses and when he can't rely on his legs he crumbles.

Its the answer to the question of why when people look at his 170 passing yards with 4 turnovers and go well actually he had 270 total yards because he ran the ball! And yards are yards...while they also complain about going run, run, pass on the game losing drive.

Running is great, if you can pass the ball first. It's why Steve Young is the only running qb with playoff success. Though hurts certainly played great in the super bowl, even if he didn't exactly get much competition from the giants and qbless 49ers in getting there.

You know as well as I do that fields td % is going down and is inflated by two games and then getting injured. His int rate has been the same throughout his career. His 3rd down and 4th quarter struggles have been the same throughout the year.

Mitchell put up 8 touchdowns across two games too. Its not the sign that he's suddenly someone new. He is who he has been for 3 years. A bad qb with great legs who can make a highlight throw or two or three a game. But across 32 starts he's got 2 or 3 solid 60 minute games. Depending on if you consider the Washington game where he barely completed 50% of his passes a good 60 minutes or not.

The solution is to stop being off set. Get a new gm, new qb, new hc. They get 3 years to win a playoff game or keep rolling the dice until you get it right. This entire oh it's not fields it's getsy. Its not poles it's eberflus. Doesn't benefit anyone but the lions, packers, and vikings.

Yup. Every drive for 3 years is run, run, pass. And only the bears have ever done run, run, pass

he's one of the worst qbs on 3rd down. He has a 57% completion on 3rd down. The only down he has more ints than td.

he's one of the worst qbs in the 4th quarter. over half of his ints come in the 4th quarter.

out of 32 starts fields has a turnover in 24 of them

He has one career comeback drive. It was set up by a turnover where we ran the ball on every play. Justin accounted for -1 yards.

Justin is one of many problems with this team. That includes a GM who choose fields over stroud. That includes a defensive HC orchestrating one of the worst pass defenses in the league. That choose Getsy as OC.

One doesn't invalidate the other.

DJ, JJ, and Sweat if we ignore that terrible contract are the only 3 people worth keeping. Wright and Dexter go in the TBD category with good and bad data points to point at that you'd expect from rookies learning in the NFL.

I hope Jordan love has many great games for the decade like justin had a "great" game today.

Terrible on 3rd down. Only managed 10 points off 4 turnovers. Was out gained despite holding the ball twice as long. Ignored his best player on a game sealing drive. Fumbled away any comeback. Please jordan give the packers a decade plus of great games like that!

[–] PeanutBear33@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I can blame the qb who fumbled away the game and was terrible on 3rd down. Who turned 4 turnovers into 10 points. Who continued to be obsessed with a deep ball he kept missing on.

But sure baby fields can do no wrong

if performance in college mattered for performance in nfl, drafting wouldn't be such a crap shoot that it is.

I have my doubts of Caleb. The same people hyping up mitchell are hyping up him. We're getting "generational" prospects every 2-3 years. His rumored refusing to play for certain teams are red flags. But the people making this decision hopefully aren't as dumb as me. And aren't as dumb as the so called experts that missed so hard on Mitchell.
