Definitely this year’s. My 15PM for me is as perfect as it can get: good camera, battery life, large screen/storage (1TB), and USB-C. All of this plus mobile Suica for traveling and it’s a winning recipe for a long time.
Looking forward to keeping this phone for as long as I can.
iPhone 7 Plus 256GB (Space Grey): 2016 - 2018 (upgraded from Sony Xperia Z, also an amazing phone, for the larger screen)
iPhone Xs Max 512GB (Space Grey): 2018 - 2023 (wanted the X but a larger form factor and was glad I waited. Glass back also meant IC card compatibility in Japan, which makes traveling/living in Japan that much more convenient)
iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB (Blue Titanium): 2023 - Present (upgraded as the Xs Max was slowing down/battery wasn't as good anymore, and I needed something to be reliable during my time in Japan starting Monday)
Hoping the 15PM will last 5+ years
I’m using an ESR case with MagSafe and stand built-in around the camera hole. Roughly $25CAD after taxes on Amazon. So far, can’t complain. Looks great and hopefully it can take a drop in an accident.
