“It is one thing if California passes laws that affects its own State, it is another when those laws affect other States in violation of the U.S. Constitution,” Rollins said.

The absolute hypocrisy. From the party that happily allows one state sue a doctor in another state for violating their anti-choice doctrine.

Debtors prison, that’s where we’re at now. I don’t disagree that some houseless people also suffer from mental instability, but they’re the ones you notice.

I live in California and have worked with people who had to sleep in their car. I’ve also been coded before. The experience was horrible; about 20-30 women in an always lit room with no door. Your bed was a chair that reclined. The common area was standing room only during the day while a troubled man shit himself.

All this does is shove a problem under the rug. The cost of living is insane, and support for people struggling with an addiction is handled by local groups.

Hamilton is on the $10. This whole post is wrecking my brain. Benjamin is, theoretically famously, on the $100.

90s Sci-Fi is my aesthetic goal

At the beginning of this thread you told the original commenter to be ashamed for wishing an ironic death to someone who joined the Russian armed forces. Now you think Russians would be their peers? I’m honestly curious what your personal viewpoint is at this point

Stephen Fry never fully recovered

I managed to dodge a lot of bullets growing up as a ‘gamer girl’. I played EQ instead of WoW and later on instead of CoD lobbies I played MAG. Still have really fond memories of this group of older guys that took me in as their medic. Never anything creepy, they just knew I was happy to play that role and got pretty good at it.

One of my dog’s many nicknames is ‘cheesy bitch’. He was on some painkillers when his old man back was acting up a while ago and he started getting picky about the brand of sliced cheese. Hence one of his other nicknames; princess haha

This picture is a few years old, hoping others enjoy it as much as I did/do!

The warning extends from Davenport, Calif., about 10 miles northwest of Santa Cruz, to the Douglas-Lane county line in Oregon, about 10 miles southwest of Florence.

The first waves are expected to arrive at 12:10 p.m. for San Francisco Bay Area, Karleisa Rogacheski, a meteorologist for the weather service told SFGATE. In areas farther north, such as Fort Bragg, the waves could come sooner, she said.

My boi about a decade ago

Taken on iPhone 12, so nothing special, and not recent (as evident by the snow capped mountains). I still come back to this as my favorite picture. I have quite a few CA nature photos that I’ve had the privilege of taking, but this is my favorite.

Inspired by a Star Trek meme post. We had some amazing reoccurring actors that you might not have recognized.

I listen to the 25th anniversary orchestration more than I should, so I’m always happy to see more!

A recent thread reminded me of a video editor I watched back in the day. I recommend checking out the channel if you watched a lot of Clasilsic Who :)

I swear I applied the sauce, just not enough. (It's never enough)

This scene has always been a favorite of mine, considerably apt in this timeframe.
