I remember finding a sewage line with around 12 pinhole leaks in it that was basically right next to a major river. Turns out the last time it was inspected was 15 years ago. I'm just amazed it didn't blow out during that time. The private sector sure showing efficiency.

Hoo boy, you should see the condition of some of the pipes i have to check up on.

I don't know why, but i keep having conversations with people that turn to the ukraine conflict. I guess it's because i have a reputation for knowing what's going on around the world (largely thanks to you beautiful folks ). But it's incredible the amount of ignorance people have about history, geography, and political realities. I guess i can't blame them, as they likely have other, more serious concerns than reading a dozen books or staring at an rss feed, but man, i love the news crew. You guys keep me informed and on top of things, and the more i read, the more i feel i can give opinions on things.
Also, i ran into an actual nafo guy at work, and when he brought up the ukraine conflict, i didn't want to stay and debate him, so i just told him that Galicia belongs to the poles and left.
They get their opinions straight from the white house and brussels.
You know, thinking about it, i don't think i have even seen a self-described "socialist" even bring up theorists or figureheads that they say influenced them. At most, it'll be something like "someone told me they read Chomsky and they gave a quote that sounded pretty good" or "Bernie/AOC/The Squad say some pretty good things and i agree with them". I don't think i've ever seen someone talk about Kautsky or Bernstein or any of the other reformists.
One of first things i sae in the comments was a nafo-brained loser seeing a woman in a dress and going "WHO IS THIS WICKED HARLOT???"
Park Dietz coined the term "family annihilator" in 1986, but i can't find the paper. Here's an LA Times article from 1988 that uses it, though.
Do you think they ever explored each others bodies?
There's about 25 blimps in the world, and only 40-50 pilots.
