FDR's fireside chats but it's just Vivek freestyling.
Used to drive a car with a stun gun: grill and roof lightbars. Would do a quick half-second flip to tell transports and big pickups that their lights were too bright. Definitely made people running with high beams think twice.
I knew someone who worked as a nurse in Thunder Bay during that time and it made my blood boil.

Not only do I have a coworker who argues about Ukraine with me at work, but now i've met somebody who, during a conversation, brought up that after the war Karelia will belong to Finland again. I have become a slava-brained magnet.
Lots of "you guys are irrelevant but also we need you to vooooooooooooooote because otherwise it's your fault Biden lost".
According to a friend of mine who was a regular extra for the show, his review of it is: good pay, decent catering.

Midnight Diner is one i find very relaxing. It's a little funny, a little dramatic, but the stakes are never very high as much as i can remember. Just a nice little show about a late night izakaya.
