US forces shot down some of the Iranian drones headed toward Israel
U.S. forces have shot down some of the Iranian drones headed towards Israel, a U.S. official confirmed to ABC News.
The U.S. has lots of capabilities in the region beyond what is in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.

AJ is reporting that Yemen has also launched drones.
Seeing as the general feeling of people in the west has zero bearing on policy, I don't think it will matter much.
That's the estimate for potential launches between Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen
I doubt they've launched hundreds of missiles already. The 400-500 is an estimate of what will be launched in total from Iran and others.
ABC News:
Israel says Iran only targeted military sites
An Israeli military source told ABC News that Iran has targeted military sites only -- civilian sites were not targeted.
The Israel Defense Forces also moved up its arrival estimate: The first drones will close in on Israel an hour earlier than expected, at 1 a.m. local time, 6 p.m. ET.
ABC News:
US officials think there will be 400 to 500 drones, missiles launched
A senior U.S. official told ABC News they now think there will be anywhere from 400 to 500 drones and missiles launched at Israel from Iraq, Syria, southern Lebanon and the Houthis but that the bulk will be launched form Iran.
The drones are the same kind used in Ukraine.
This is being falsely reported on twitter as 4-500 drones have been launched. Like do these "WAR REPORTERS" have zero reading comprehension??
Sounds like there are (will be?) missiles too
Would Biden starting a war with Iran help his polling?
While we wait for the end times, sounds like Jodi Dean was just "relieved of teaching responsibilities" for supporting Palestine

This account is not the best. Seeing this parroted elsewhere, no idea where it came from.
