ngl, that is a lot of independents, but considering how important swing voters tend to be, its not a good sign

I'm surprised they waited this long, but even that article mentions there was likely a policy in place in some departments for a while.

Its super cool that Huawei was able to put out the Mate 60. Like the west was so sure of themselves that these sanctions would not only stop development, but send it backwards lmao.

China's bourgeoisie are just as insufferable, or even more, than those in the west. I watched a doc a while ago, and there was this long extended scene where a bunch of them go to a simulation of a fancy French dinner party. Like they want to be westerners so badly it hurts, but all the can muster is this type of tacky simulacra. A bit like the housing developments in Dubai, which are just (bad) simulations of other regions in the world, a bit like those images.
