We should really crack down on Airbnbs. Why make $2000 a month by providing a place for someone to live when you can make $500 in one night from a tourist?

What happened is that after 2008, builders became afraid to build (for good reason), and since then housing construction still hasn't rebounded to what it needs to be to meet demand. The houses they are building are bigger (5bd compared to 2-3bd), so new homes are also more expensive to begin with. Both first-time buyers and downsizing boomers are competing for the tiny supply of 2-3bds.
But there are not different breeds of humans. The differences in DNA between races is not enough to be statistically significant, meaning there is no scientific basis for race.
I just asked Wombo Dream to make the Mona Lisa and it did. Sure, you can tell it's not exactly the real thing, but I don't know how you can say it didn't copy any of the actual Mona Lisa original.
They obviously put a lot of work into this.

Draft2Digital already exists as a way to publish everywhere except Amazon (and actually you can do Amazon through them too but then both take a cut). I'm not sure what the benefit would be for a publishing service to be connected to the fediverse.

Hear me out, Joseph Smith actually set a great example... that if you don't agree with any of the existing religions, it's fine to just believe whatever you want and not be a part of any of them. I just don't see any reason I should try and convince anyone else to share my exact beliefs.

And if you are already on the highway, don't try to match the speed of the person merging. Ffs, speed up so they can get behind you. They may not be able to overtake you even if you slow down, and that's not how it's supposed to work anyway.
