We tried that in 2016 when we elected Bernie Sanders as our Dem candidate. The DNC told us to go fuck ourselves and nominated Hillary Clinton anyway. So, no, apparently that won't work either.
The NRA doesn't want people exercising their rights, never have. They just want to make money off of those who will do so at whatever cost.
The NRA has never cared about supporting gun rights. All they care about is inserting themselves as the middle-man you're required to pay before you're allowed to exercise your second ammendment rights. They lobby exclusively for legislation that requires you to obtain training from one of their "licensed" instructors before being able to obtain a concealed carry permit. That's all. Anyone who supports them is a clueless chud.

Completely agree. There are no US politicians who are willing to offer social progress or even support middle-class workers. If you're not a campaign donor, you can't get shit in this country.
Not that it matters who votes for who. After the 2024 election, it's obvious the winner isn't decided by votes anyway.

They can, but they won't. Everyone knows the Dems' donors won't allow them to put up any real resistance against fascism. Best they'll do is a public condemnation, maybe a pinky swear to hold the next one accountable, if we're lucky.
