Oh boy, between the writers strike and actors strike we are in for a year of reality shows being shoved out the door...

Personally if I wanted to interact with Threads, I would make a Threads account. It's free, I already have 100 accounts across various websites, so what is 1 more.

I think defederation is a wise choice here.

Any meaningful grid changes/upgrades. It just seems like a very very small budget for infrastructure.

The article lists an awfully long laundry list of things the funding will go towards, including adding battery storage to the grid.

Is $21 million (15m federal, article says about 6m from state funds) anywhere close to realistic....? Or is this like "1 battery here, check that off the list, bury these 3 cables here and check that off the list...."

AirBNB is only good if it is an extremely unique/convenient location and there are no hotels reasonably nearby. Otherwise Hotel absolutely > AirBNB

Thank you for the web link, TIL it is much more common than I was aware!

In all seriousness, is the Dev using the build date as the version number....? July 8th, 2023 at 12:34am - vYY.MM.DD-HH.mm

Unusual approach for sure as you have no clue if it is a major version change or minor bug fixes.

Tried it with 5 adults around me, 5 for 5 it was accurate. Most that agreed it was art had the stipulation that it looked like Children's art, but that still was technically art even if they didn't think it required much skill.

This is insanely cool... I don't know why it never occurred to me that bots on other platforms could work here due to federation, but it makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing!

Well it's a good thing the max draw of a switch is 18W, and this device has a specific 9V power profile for the switch. The 30W is there to support devices with a faster power delivery spec (such as the Steam Deck).

I would check out the Genki Covert Dock. It is a game changer when bringing the switch outside the house, but absolutely could be plugged in most of the time at home.

Its a wonderful grab and go dock, and they extensively tested switch compatibility - have had zero issues with mine.

Have Stable Diffusion installed on my home server so that I can tinker as much as I like for free.
