I'll admit that I usually try to stay away from the obviously biased sources (Rawstory, MSNBC, MeidasTouch, etc) but sometimes I have a bad day and just can't help myself.
I imagine he could escape jail time, for this case at least. I think the judge will probably suspend his sentence or give probation, but hopefully he still gets the felony conviction. That's what swing voters are going to care about.
I cared for my parents with dementia, so I know the signs. Trump is staying mentally engaged(thanks to the legal system) which slows its progress, but he definitely has some form of dementia. I don't think he'll be in any shape to run in '28.

I just don't get it. Even if it were my own party's candidate, I wouldn't contribute money if it was just all going to legal bills. And it's not just for his defense either. He's launching appeal after appeal, and he doesn't care because it's not his money.
But on the bright side, that's less money going to televangelists, firearms, and pickup truck lift-kits.
That's insane. Why would any swing voter vote for someone with this much debt and this many legal problems? Courtrooms and fundraising (for himself) are his full time job right now. It's hard to see how he could handle a side hustle being president.
I don't think he's going to get many takers on that 5% thing. A lot of 'winners' he's picked recently have gotten crushed, so I don't think too many Repubs are going to be hurting without his endorsement.
