That is what makes me lose faith in democracy. At least the way we practice it, without any requirements for education.

Starship Troopers had an interesting idea where citizenship required military service prior to allowing you to vote - it was fair bc it was applied to everyone equally, though e.g. rich people could educate their kids earlier and they would get cushy spots ofc.

But without some kind of basic education requirement... I don't see how we can survive the double whammy of both capitalism (where e.g. our news media tells us what is profitable to say, not what is factual) and now facing the age of not merely misinformation (easily cured by like a 5-minute video on a subject) but campaigns of active disinformation (for which there is no readily available cure that I am aware of, beyond a preemptive vaccine of knowledge).

Well, whatever happens will be what happens, I suppose. And after that... we'll see how it goes.

Perhaps it's just out of view? "The metal chipper feeds directly into a vat of boiling metal..." :-P

They might... slow him down for a few seconds? :-P

Or more apropos, produce an entertaining spectacle to watch:-D.

You get them after parents have already had their way with them, so yeah it's difficult for them to unlearn a lifetime's worth of instruction, to now do the correct thing.

Yup. And we are all human, but what if it were a choice to be angry or to be effective? I'm not proposing anything like not disciplining your kids, as some people choose, just... to be mindful of a teachable moment.

Also, being told/shown something vs. truly knowing it are different things - some people receive more readily visual or auditory or tactile cues.

Anyway, it's your life to do as you please. But there are ways that are easier, and more fulfilling in the long run.

Don't worry, he'll be fine and able to continue the fight.

Attempting to change the conversation does not address any of these points made in the video. e.g. if Biden has a stroke or some such and doesn't even last the summer much less the year much less be capable of being President of the United States for the next four years, that would not be great.

If a car was headed off a cliff, demanding that precision coordinates be entered correctly for the next destination is a poor adaptation to the current set of circumstances. Rather, the important thing is to not head off the cliff, immediately.

Anyway, Jon does address this point too, by showing a direct quote from Biden when he was asked this very question. His answer may surprise you. 16:10 is where it's at.

Also, as Jon summarizes, he's not asking Biden to step down. Just for an actual competition to be held, to offer the American people an actual choice. Bc we aren't fascists, or at least we shouldn't be.
