Oh right, thanks. Indeed as you say it gets complicated, when up is down and left is upside down and right is inside out, due to people lacking morals wanting to associate themselves with "good things" despite being the polar opposite of those precise things.

Can you prove that the skeleton didn't turn into a crab after the original creature died? 🦀

Do as you want, but I wanted you to know your options!

Speaking of, nothing needs to be permanent - just make an alt somewhere and check it out, and you can always keep your old account (you will ofc find yourself using it less, if you enjoy the new one better:-).

Also, look at the Import/Export Settings section in your Settings menu for easier setup of your subscriptions and such.

A lot of people are recommending lemm.ee these days, but there are so many cool options to explore, just don't let that thought hold you back from doing anything at all.

Hitler was black (I mean... hopefully you know what I mean!?:-P), while Russia and China are red, so they truly could go either way.

In the USA I tend to associate antifa with black, probably bc Trump supporters are red - but as in red (Republican/"conservative") vs. blue (Democrat/"liberal") (yeah extremely heavy quotes on those terms... 😮‍💨).

Anyway, that would mean that the entirety of the Fediverse servers were antifa, which seems to contrast with Lemmygrad.ml and lemmy.ml that featured so prominently in its software development?

So either way it is a bit confusing, to me at least.

I find that it correlates more with education status than nationality... but therefore it surely is more rare among the set of average Americans who have access to the internet than globally.

I am fairly sure that the rest of the world already existed.

No way - at least not back then! Source: am American, and therefore entirely confident that no other nations existed prior to my hearing about them (Christopher Columbus told me so! 😛). And maybe even then... which reminds me, are you so sure that you are real? Maybe you too are in America and just forgot? 🫠

Also, just so we are clear, "American" = "USAian", definitely no other nations exist on the American continent, nope, no way! (Except Canada and Mexico, and they get a pass as wannabe USA states) 😜
