Really?

I had no idea how math/percentages work.

(Yes, that's sarcasm because no, this isn't a shower thought, it's grade-school math).

It's in the Update toward the bottom.

But it's nonsense, there's very little work to do for Google.

I'm going with pop tarts do not have enough fat in the dough, haha

Man, I don't think I could be bothered to fight about any of those.

I'd laugh at the pop tarts one (that's a good one), the rest, meh.

I mean Paris is cool and all, but what a shit show with the insane traffic (like any large city). The food is fantastic though.

Meh, don't really see any reason to remake this B movie.

Their parents must be so proud.

Thing is, Resilio doesn't care - it could be an external drive on any computer, anywhere, since it uses it's own encrypted channel (via the Bittorrent protocol).

In this way you don't need a "host", a file server, etc. It has its own resolution system for finding peers. I use it for grabbing files from any box, anywhere, without needing a VPN or knowing machine names, etc.

I still don't know that it's the answer for you without fully understanding your work flow, it's just an idea.

To help with the extension idea, they could glue together the connection (I use Goop adhesive, super strong, but removable). You could also heat shrink the connection.

Do you have a link? Thx

I despise meta and the fact they're not being punished for this.

He didn't just download stuff, he installed a server on their network to do it. A bit different.

His punishment was still beyond the pale.

Totally off the wall question, which I realize probably isn't very meaningful, but I was watching a movie where a character was using a suppressed rifle. Looked like an AR/.223 (I assume).

Well it got me thinking - how much can a given gun be suppressed (decibel reduction) before performance is significantly reduced (I assume it must impact performance, even if just a little since it's attenuating sound waves, which are energy, but what do I know?).

I'm sure it varies by round/load, barrel length, etc, so let's assume a subsonic .223 round in a 14" barrel (is that a common lenth?). Or if you know a specific case that's fine too.

Surely there are reasons why a given suppressor is chosen for a specific use case, and I don't know enough to see that (diminishing returns for length/weight?)

I tried asking chatgpt, but it just returned generic suppressor info.
