Firstly, Chorley.
Secondly, I should rewatch Phoenix Nights. It's been like twenty years, it's time.
As for where I'm from? Walkers Crisps and Pork Pies.

It was the only of my three cars that hasn't been totalled by a driver not paying attention when driving past it.
Yup. Two cars have been written off whilst parked down my street inside two years. Love it!
Okay so for context I've not played BG3. However I do consider myself pretty upto date with my gaming stuff (I run a videogame community afterall). I couldn't tell you which of the characters on the front of the BG3 box-art is Shadowheart; not the foggiest.
As for Croft. I wonder if they'd 'commissioned' this poll before the release of the recent game if she'd have even made the top 10. For the most part, her star has fallen pretty significantly from where she was in the 90's.
I'm interested to see if they provided a list or if they asked people to submit their own choices. Sackboy and Arthur Morgan are....I mean I'd argue Arthur isn't even the most iconic character in his own game. Surely that honour goes to John Marston?
Big Fish was one of the first movies I watched when I started really paying attention to what I was watching. And to this day it remains one of my favourites. Sleepy Hollow doesn't get enough love either. Stellar cast.
Don't set yourself alight to keep yourself warm. Not always easy, but it is something I believe. You can only do so much if someone isn't willing to help themself.
Firstly, I upvoted the post because I'd like to see more discussion in this community rather than mere news.
As for your idea about spoiling your ballot. I'm not sure I understand the point of spoiling if you yourself would admit that you'd happily vote Green. Vote Green (if possible).
A sudden uptick in votes for other parties might do more to get the bigger parties to take notice then drawing a dick on your ballot paper.
I'm a Labour member and I don't want to see them get this sort of majority. There needs to be some sort of functioning opposition to keep them honest and to serve as a threat that the good times won't last forever.
The woman in question told me that in order to help my toddler through his tantrums and general toddler-ness me and Mummy should opt for a strict 'mimic the crying' strategy.
She wants us to cry when he cries. Won't be trying that one. My 'gentle parenting' philosophy may have been abandoned at the birth of my second child, but I'm not sure I'm quite ready to traumatize my child in such an overt way just yet.
The last game that truly gave me the feeling you described is Lies of P. It was my favourite game of 2023 and the 60 or so hours I put into beating it were very well spent.
Rocket League. I probably play a solid 3 hours of that every single week, and have done for the last two years. Before those two years I probably played a solid 7-8 hours a week. It's my forever game, the game I play when I'm bored, the game I play when I've got a lot on my mind and just want to fill the void in my head with something safe and easy.
It's happening. My eldest is six. And I've noticed that when it comes to being a stubborn git, she's definitely more her Mum than she is me.
She'll refuse to do the most benign things. Getting dressed and brushing her teeth is an absolute battle. Trying to get her to eat anything that's not a ketchup covered fish finger? An Impossibility. She's her Mum. Classic 'cutting off her nose to spite her face' sort of stuff.
Ay ay ay.
