I emailed the dev a few days ago asking where I could donate or something but haven't heard back yet.

Smoking pork butt for the first time! I anticipate mediocre results but hey I've never done it before.

I saw The Decemberists in that open grass area there back in ... 2007? It's been a while. That was a good day. I loved Chicago summers.

You're not supposed to take pictures of the bean!

(Just looked it up, apparently they'll allow it these days unless you're obviously a crew)

Aurora Lily58. PCB was by SplitKB. Probably an awesome board, but as it turns out I prefer super tall caps.

That's the Elecom Huge. It, as advertised, is HUGE. I love it to death. It's like a hug for my entire hand and then some. I haven't tried the MX ergo, but a few people I've known over the years liked it a lot.

A man of class, I see.

I REALLY liked the Inbox app they made for gmail. Sadly, like all the best things google makes, it went the way of the dinosaurs.

Using GPT4 with browsing/other plugins has been great. I friggin hate researching things, while the spouse is the opposite. As a neuro-spicy individual, planning is just about the worst thing I can imagine.

Guess what - "Give me a simple plan for a day in X city that's good for a family with kids ages X, Y, and Z. We need to be back in town by ABC time for a dinner reservation. Plan for random stops and finish with a short summary of the day's schedule that I can share with my wife."

Sit back and relax while GPT does the menial work. Give it a try for where you live and see how well it works. So far we've been having a great time. We got out in the middle of nowhere today and did a nice trail with the kids because of this. Likely never would have found that on my own.

Thanks, openAI!

How many times must we say this? I'm over my limit when trying to extend a conversation past "oh cool" or not realizing someone was trying to share excitement or whatever with me.

So exhausting. Just read my mind for my intentions and ignore the actual words please. It's so hard some days.
