If so, why and what do you tag them? What fits your bill as to tag and remember someone and to just leave it be?

Oh, bonus question, if you tag people, what am I tagged as? 🥺

Currently Lemmy has a decent selection of communities and nearly any post gets a good traction, you easily find yourself in convos and can recognise others if you frequent enough

I don't think this would be the case for long if Lemmy got big, maybe 10% of Reddit is enough

But maybe because of how Lemmy is maintained, instances like beehaw might defederate, again allowing for smaller communities

I don't know, I really like where Lemmy is tbh, bit iffy on the .world situation, donated a bit, Lemmy is nice. Yeah. Lemmy is nice. I like Lemmy.

Looking to make a throwaway to ask a question in Lemmygrad, because discuss.online defederates away from it.

I've felt a delayed sense of intense dread following the election of trump and watched as the Palestinian genocide only got worse

My family members care only with words, my friends are more interested in nationalism, our party is both authoritarian, pro-israel and also lying to their citizens about being Anti-Israel, and not a single major nation has done anything towards Israel that can directly affect it

I send my donations and I attend rallies, but to what end? Do they matter? People seemingly rather distance themselves than have actual progress, seemingly attempting to be at the moral high ground no matter what, even if it means ignoring a genocide, it's disgusting

I don't know what to do, am I meant to only provide a shelter to who can survive? What about the rest? I can't help but fucking shiver and its giving me a panic attack

I notice that most of the pictures are just in random communities where an .ml user comments something tankie, does anyone have pictures of hexbear or Lemmygrad c/politics stuff?

I am a developer and I have worked as an intern in the past, which wasn't a big deal, but now I want to find new opportunities and it's daunting, making programs to show off on GitHub is much easier than to, like, be overwhelmed by the calls, the resumes, the interviews, I almost feel like I am going to get blacklisted from a company if I do bad and that KILLS my motivation if I had any

It's difficult to even start so I've just been procrastinating by telling myself I'll make a resume after I'm done with a project, and I'm never done with a project, and if I do have a resume, I'm too scared, lazy, or can't find a place to send it too

Maybe I should try finding a really lazy method, or maybe I should use a fake name to see how it goes, but I don't feel much confident even then, is there any way to gamify this damned process? What a mess.
