Hagrid risked being chased by death eaters (who were known for insane brutality) with low magic skills (because he got expelled in his 3rd year and wasn't allowed to practice magic since then).

It was shortly after the incident, so neither was Voldemorts defeat fully confirmed, nor did he know, how the death eaters would react to their leader being almost killed. He still took the risk

„Indianer kennen keinen Schmerz‟ ist ein Satz, den heute hoffentlich kein Kind mehr zu hören bekommt

It was a genuine question, and I find your approach very interesting. It would be also cool to analyze how the stereotypes about vampires have changed in their portrayals in different historical contexts.

Yes, to be fair, this comparison is more about stereotypes. Introversion actually refers to the fact that introverts need less outside input to feel engaged/overwhelmed, which everyone deals with differently

As you probably know, some real diseases and phenomena (rabies, tuberculosis, catalepsy, porphyria,...) are associated with the belief in vampires.

However, how would you explain the "social behaviour", like only entering if asked (other than the fantasy of an author)?
