Carpet rakes are underrated. I've got a rubber one and it's great. Also good for removing pet hair from furniture with a vacuum.

I dunno about the code. But, they're definitely pushing their agenda here on Lemmy.

As far as I'm concerned, it's the only true negative aspect of Lemmy that I've noticed since I joined.

Everything here is pretty good. The users are mostly cool. Content is not high in quantity, yet, but it's decent quality.

Lemmy has one real, true problem, tankies. They're dishonest, they manipulate content, they brigade posts, they're a cancer. They have no home in legitimate link aggregation.

If it is true that they "built" Lemmy, it was only to get away from everyone who shunned them and forced them to find a safe place. And now they're mad that people who aren't deranged lunatics arrived in their safe place.

Holy shit? How many people in Florida have been mutilating kids?! Does anyone have statistics?! This is horrible news!?!

Does anyone know how wide spread this is? Like an official count by the government or an oversight body, or something? Anything?

We should organize against this for sure. Once we have all the facts, we should form some type of a resistance. Maybe, like, a group called:

"Quit mutilating your own children, Satan! Move to California where they sacrifice all the children and mutilate babies. At least the babies who survive poat-birth abortion. And mutilation. And the pizza restaurant in DC. And all the children!!!!"

It's not great for slogans, I agree. But I'm open to ideas

I hope not. You seem okay so far.

I left Reddit for Lemmy a month ago.

The comments in politics communities around here do not live up to Reddit's yet. Close sometimes.

This comment is the first time I've actually laughed. Brilliant. I actually went at read the article just because of this comment. Cheers.

Nah, doxing is terrible. You and I can agree on that.

It's your war against leftists that's hilarious

[–] Ohthereyouare@lemm.ee 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Man, these leftists are coming for everyone! They sound so scary!

The American thing to do? Shit. Aren't the leftists Americans too? Are these foreign leftists coming for you? What are they coming with? Do they have weapons?

What should I do to protect myself from these lunatics? Should I build a shelter? Fuck. Are they coming for me right now? Is there time to prepare? Or is the apocalypse already upon us?!

Please respond, I'm very nervous now.

Lmao. You got banned? Hilarious.

[–] Ohthereyouare@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Okay, fair enough. Although, honestly, I'm struggling to figure something out and maybe you know.

If Lemmy users all hated Reddit and Reddit users so much, why did they all go there and try to convince everyone from Reddit to come to Lemmy when the API debacle happened?

[–] Ohthereyouare@lemm.ee 6 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Mass exodus from Reddit is because of API, not because the marijuana subreddit is called trees. You think the number of users skyrocketed the day API closed because people were mad about foodporn? No.

I'm blown away that this finally sunk in with you! Congratulations! I was starting to believe you just weren't capable.

You missed one small detail though. That the very idea of the Fediverse is for people to come here. I suppose that's why all the Lemmy users came to Reddit and screamed "Join Lemmy!!!".
