While this is a fair criticism of Android you don't exactly have access to check and see if Apple is doing the same thing like you do with Android. You're really just taking Apple at their word and they wont even let you cloud save to anything but their servers and can dig through your photos to find illegal content.

I'd wager that's just authoritative types and not fascists specifically. You can have an authoritarian fascist but bootlicking and subservience is a response to hierarchy and the social pressure to fall in line. While thinking critically with intellectual and ethical reasoning is always outside the desire of hierarchy enshrined in the status quo. Authority will always encourage sycophants.

I just hope all the developers unionize. Microsoft is such a diverse company it's nearly impossible to boycott into any type of pressure. If firing one group could cause another team to strike it might at least slow them down.

I think all jobs that are able to be replaced by robots should be replaced, the dystopian factor is how capitalism deprives people of the ability to exist in doing so.
