If I'm understanding it correctly, they would be able to use their state provided drivers license for identification. Is that not the case?

Same here. Everyone complaining about AI in game development have no idea how hard indie devs have it. We desperately want to make a quality product and work our asses off doing so. We're working full time jobs for 'The Man' to fund it out of pocket, so every cent saved by using AI Gen is value being added elsewhere. Building games is really freakin' hard folks. The dream is to have a studio of artist making content, but that's literally impossible given my pay grade. It's truly a shame to see the gaming community rally against tooling that helps us indie devs make our dream a reality.

I was under the impression that the sperm that fertilizes the egg carries either an X chromosome or Y chromosome and that's what determines male or female. So that would mean conception is in fact when this gets decided, no? What am I missing here?

You plant shit seeds, you get shit weeds. I hate the fact that Reddit has grown since I bailed over for API changes. It hurts my soul knowing I did the right thing and bailed but the vast majority of people who were pissed off at Reddit ended up back on the platform.

I'm going to NY next week and really appreciate the reminder to go eat at Katz again. 🤤

Bingo. Why do something with 15k vertices if 99% of the shape can be achieved with 700? Be kind to your player's CPU ❤️

Planned obsolescence at play here 😢 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence

The luxuries that come from anything with a battery are great, but everything running a lithium-ion battery has its days numbered, and that's really unfortunate for the consumer and absolutely stellar for the business.

Sacrifice! Wow, great times. I remember the voice acting in that was astounding.

Just as long as they also cap property tax and insurance increases at 3%, I'd be fine with that. I had both more than double in price in 3 years.
