MHJ might get more wide open so Fields can pass it to him. But i agree. He needs to throw more anticipatory passes. Every time i say this. I'm downvoted because Fields is not making these types of throws

It’s not even throwing it in the middle of the field. Tim Jenkins clearly points out that Mooney is the first read. Mooney comes wide open in the nose of the field.
If fields anticipated it. That’s a huge gain. But by the time fields sees him open it’s too late. I’m not sure why people are arguing this.
The play where he says Justin creating something out of nothing with Mooney coming wide open just as Justin gets to the top of his drop is why Justin is the problem. That’s probably a 20+ yard catch and run if thrown on time and in stride. Instead he doesn’t know what defense the lions are in and cant/wont ever make that pass.

Wow this kid looks good! Some great throws. Great poise. Delivered in the clutch time and time again. Doesn't get jittery when the pocket collapses.
One small nitpick about him about his it doesn't seem like he has a ton of arm strength but I've only watched this one game. He throws a deep ball and it seems to come up a bit short
Pretty solid call on the screen. But great read by the linebacker to beat the blockers.
If our oline got out first that’s probably a 15 yard gain or more
definitely not used to it but maybe also velocity. He's not used to throwing it as hard as possible cause the ball would fit in at D2. Now his regular throws might not be enough for the small windows. But i'm glad he's trying these so he knows whats possible

Dont even get me started on that pass to Mooney when Fields scrambled out to the left side and threw a straight hospital ball to Mooney who might caught it and ran it some more if it was a better pass
