Proton just released a VPN extension for chrome and firefox (protonvpn.com)
 

Not sure if it was just released today, but I got the email update about it just now. I'm pretty excited about this because I mostly just want VPN for web browsing, and the linux app kinda sucks.

I left a comment on the post through lemmy.ml, but it didn't post it to lemmy.world. The lemmy.ml version only has my comment, but the lemmy.world version has 12 comments (mine not included).

It was my understanding that I could comment on other instances posts. Can anyone explain what is going on here?

feels like we lost the internet in a lot of ways. i wonder what the solution is, if there even is one. i guess we just can’t give up fighting.

This is what I use. Love it. It takes a lot of time though. There are a few things I want to improve, but I've become to lazy to do it.
