China reversed its one-child policy and people there are having even fewer kids.

Latin America isn't at the replacement rate of 2 children per couple any more. You know, the continent with all those Catholics? They aren't having kids.

Only Africa now is above the replacement rate. Likely not for long.

Human population will peak way sooner than expected.

What will Western billionaires do when the flow of poor brown people stops? They're dependent on them for cheap labour and to deflect blame onto.

Outside of the USA, many people can afford eggs. Don't generalize from a shithole country.

He also believed your soul carries on after death and enters a new body, possibly even an animal's.

The story that he was killed because he refused to run away through a field of beans is probably fake. There's a trope of ancient philosophers getting ironic deaths:

  • Archimedes being killed because he was absorbed in his geometry (he told the attacking soldier "don't disturb my circles!")

  • Diogenes was notorious for rejecting social norms and acting dog-like. "Cynic" comes from the Greek word for "dog". He died of food poisoning after eating raw octopus, showing you can't really live like a dog.

Yep, I've been using them and it helps a lot. It's a good idea to try em for anyone who has issues with dairy. But sometimes it's a bit more than that, like a milk allergy.

Lactose is my lover who turned toxic but who I can't cut out of my life. Every now and again I send em a "u up", we reconnect, I end up with my asshole hurting. Wait am I still talking about lactose?

Well it took 300 years between Jesus allegedly being around and the emperor Constantine promoting it as the dominant religion. So way shorter than 2000.

Greenwashing everywhere on this subject: a lot of compostable bags, coffee cups, etc are technically compostable if the municipality has the right kind of equipment. But often the municipality doesn't have the means, or the compostable claims are bullshit in the first place.
