Honestly, your well reasoned and fairly balanced comment is a breath of fresh air to me. Specially in the stale gas cloud of Brexit hate that always seems to dominate online. Along with the majority I voted for Brexit and I think it was a great idea then and still is now. The flack I've taken and the friendships that had to end (not on my account I have to say) because of it has been unfortunate but here we are. Thank you for your post.

I grew up in France in the 70's so I've experienced Tintin in French being this awesome hero that I loved. Most of my young adult life I loved Tintin. But then I also got to experience that strange feeling of starting to notice how other races were represented in it. At first it felt a little off but then it started to feel really uncomfortable. Now it's so bad I actually feel kinda bad for ever enjoying it even though I was only a kid. Strange experience...
I really don't see what the people bullying you think they're going to achieve. Maybe it makes them happy to find community in a common cause and it really has nothing to do with you per say. Personally I don't think I agree with you but it's a tricky issue. I can see that. I would just have unisex bathrooms and if anyone feels uncomfortable just use a cubicle but more importantly that's just my dumb opinion. Like who cares about ANY of our opinions about anything. It's fake agency. A thought experiment at best. Having said that I'm sure plenty of people are quietly not cool with how you're being ganged up on for having an opinion and I'm one of them.

Just nabbed Salt 2 and it's so good already and I've only just started! I love how colourful everything is. Also, I made the mistake of going for a wander on the first island too late in the day without realising how DARK night times get. Fumbled my way to the nearest beach and managed to spawn my little raft and just about navigate back to camp. Thanks for the recommendation. I can see this is going to claim many, many hours of my life already ๐คฃ
