At first I thought this was a Brazil reference lol

Or any number of innocent beings caught up in the worlds problems. I get you, but this is purely an immediate way to ground yourself when you're feeling overwhelmed. It's like the quiet giant under your feet all the time that you can connect with whenever you need to :)
When the weight of the world feels overwhelming, remember this: Everything humans have ever done, every building, road, machine, and moment, makes up only a tiny fraction of this planet’s mass. We are small creatures, clinging to the surface of a vast, ancient, quietly turning sphere. The Earth itself is not in crisis. It simply is. Steady, silent, and endlessly patient. If human noise becomes too much, just place your hand on the ground. Feel the stillness. Let it remind you that you are connected to something far older, far larger, and far more enduring than any headline or heartbreak. The Earth will hold you.
Thanks for sharing, that was really interesting :)
In the last few months I joined a business networking group that was initially meant to be a group to help us all grow our businesses. Within a couple of meetings it basically turned into an ADHD support group though. There's no business involved really because it's such an amazing experience just being in a room with 15-20 people who all share the same ways of talking and looking at the world. I always leave those meetings with a huge grin on my face. The only problem is that it's really disorganised (I mean of course it is...) So you're never really sure if the people running it will overcome their executive dysfunction and organise the next one hehe
I love Steve Mould and I love microscopes so this was fun :)
Would love to be a fly on the wall at Slimming World HQ when that headline came in...
Wow.. it's crazy. I was just thinking about it and honestly I don't think I'd drive a Tesla if it was given to me with a bow on the roof. That's some serious brand implosion right there.
Also, I know of at least one company in my area (where a friend of mine works) who used to have a Tesla fleet for their employees and who have all been switched to Polestars now.
Oh I definitely have a whole bunch of that!
Yes, very possibly!
I find that my short term memory is directly connected to how inconvenient it would be to forget. It feels like my brain is basically trolling me "Ahaaa... you wanted to remember this didn't you! Well, how about I block the memory and give you a vague sense of unease instead? Don't worry, the minute you don't need this information anymore, I'll give it back to you" (laughs in Disney villain).
Such a cool demo! Hope it's not too long before we can play the real thing :)
Well that's in bad taste... (I'll see myself out)
