Not gonna answer the question? That's cool.

100% agree which also leads to one of the biggest disappointments in JC4 for me; re-spawning enemies... It was so satisfying to conquer bases in JC3 and you knew that was it then. That base belonged to the rebellion for good. Also they changed Rico's ethnicity and bodyshape. Here's the hero you love except he's South American now and his muscles are gone. He's meant to be an ironic cliche "Thees could be traaable". That was the whole point. It was fun. I think the thing that ticked me off the most though was that all they had to do was make a graphically updated clone of JC3 with another land to fight over and they could have spawned an endless amount of sequels. I've played through JC3 so many times and the second that Firestarter soundtrack comes on it's just so. damn. perfect ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿท

"I think I use AI more than most people here." That's a bold claim with no further explanation. In the words of Calvin Candie "You had my curiosity, now you have my attention"...

"Also, you totally trust everything you learned." Never said I trusted it. You just exaggerated something I said so you could argue the counterpoint.

I mean... if you wanted to be blocked, you only had to ask lol

Surprised this didn't come up sooner to be honest.

It's not a conversation though is it... but I think you know that. There's so much bandwagoning against AI at the moment. It's just sad and unfortunately, quite predictable.

In a state that uses 28% of it's power on air conditioning? Interesting...

Oh you can have conversations with YouTube? I had no idea ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

You fell in love with a game and it's characters, sunk hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours into it. It became a comforting, immensely satisfying part of your daily life. Then you heard a sequel was coming and got really hyped but when it came out it was utter rubbish...

Which game(s) was that for you?

It happened to me this morning. I was feeling like everyone hated me and I was completely useless and a failure at everything and then I suddenly thought... "What would Worf do?" and things actually started to feel better ๐Ÿคฃ What's your strategy?

This was my first ever experience of a dungeon crawler and I was completely hooked and somehow managed to finish it.

I've always wondered what the closest modern successor to it might be. I just loved the first person feeling of solitude down there and the layers of dungeon getting more and more dangerous as you explored them. I also loved that there were factions that could be friendly in there and that you could trade with. Does anyone know what the nearest equivalent to this masterpiece might be?

I still have my 20 year old Yamaha Tyros 2 and I love it. It somehow still works too! I loved it though because it was such an all in one solution for writing, recording and performing music and vocals. By today's standards though it does feel like operating a telephone exchange in a world full of smartphones (and you have to constantly dodge super cringe music styles - OberPolka2 or LimboRock anyone?) .

My question is what do you young'uns use these days that could give me that same all in one feel with lots of auto accompaniment support? Also, I'd love to be able to sample my vocals and layer them within the one unit. Is there anything like that around? I mean I assume there must be given 20 years of technological evolution since the Tyros 2 came out ๐Ÿ˜„

I discovered I had ADHD about 18 months ago and since then I've noticed my personality has changed quite a bit. Just knowing the reason why the world always seemed such a confusing place and realising how much masking I did all my life, I've noticed the pendulum seems to be swinging in the other way now. I'm never masking again and if that means I seem strange to neurotypicals then so be it.

Have any of you who also discovered your neurospicyness in the last few years experienced anything like this as well? I'm just done pretending and I know it's probably making me more of a challenge to be around.

I wonder if this is normal and if the pendulum will swing back eventually to a more harmonious place.

Also when did it become ok for dentists to tell you off for not brushing up to their standards. I just noticed how they routinely use shaming as a form of control.

The things that get in the way for me are: getting instantly bored with any weight loss strategy, an inability to do things if I'm told I have to, forgetting that I need to lose weight, needing the sensory input of food, inability to recognise when I'm full, hyper-focusing on weight loss for a month and losing a ton of weight and then putting it all back on the next month because I celebrated the weight loss with cake...

I just wonder if there are any ADHD behaviour hacks where I could use my neurospicyness to actually help me lose weight consistently.

I am a reddit refugee from the mod wars. I love it here. I originally made an mbin account but then 9 months ago mbin seemed to die so I made a new fedia.io account and things have been going swimmingly so far.

A few days ago I noticed that fedia.io pages have been loading increasingly slowly. All I am wondering is where the best magazine/online place/other forum I can check is to see if there are any issues happening on fedia.io or anything that might be responsible for the slowed performance.

I can't just search "Is fedia.io down" like I would with other online resources. Any help or steer towards more appropriate places for me to ask this question would be much appreciated.

The only group that's ever accepted me and has welcomed me without doing that so far has been my local drama group (and, of course, this place :) ). There, it seems my "Golden retriever" energy is always welcomed and in fact valued. What's been your experience?

I'm talking about things like:

most realistic physics most aesthetically pleasing sea most fun to play most immersive (pun intended (I'll sea myself out)) most activities available at sea most variety of sea going vessels

Games with impressive seas that I've played so far:

Assassin's Creed Odyssey (Triremes and heaving seas) Just Cause 3 (Sparkling blue mediterranean seas) Sea of Thieves (Monsters and pirates) Sailwind (Gentle seas and actual sailing mechanics) Silent Depth 2 Pacific (Sneaky WW2 subs) Cold Waters (Sneaky modern subs) Uboat (Beautiful WW2 seas, rare shooting opportunities) Subnautica (Thalassophobia and crafting)

I've also noticed that Ships at Sea has just gone on sale. If you've played it recently was it any good?

I also need to add Fluffy Sailors which I bought today. So cute and so much fun :)

It's such an overcrowded genre isn't it? I mean it's ridiculous how many top down games there are out there... I've played so many now, they just blend into each other.

Are there any top down games that do something different (or the same but really really well). For example, my last really positive experiences with this format were Desperados 3 and Shadow Gambit The Cursed Crew.

Do you feel your can be open about it with a potential employer?
