Last year we got 3 1sts and a 2nd (if you count Moore as a 1st) for 1.01 (Bryce Young). With Caleb Williams/Drake Maye being the prospects however, a trade from 1.10 like last year would probably net more than it did, as the prospects in question are exponentially more sound than Young. So you could realistically expect 3 1sts and 2 2nds for a trade up from a similar position.
I think our talent is getting closer at the least. Wright, JJ, Moore, Jenkins, Brisker, RoJo, and Dexter look like solid pieces to build off of. Our Corner group is young and I believe can improve readily with better coaching. I think with the right coaching and picks next year, we can finally be where we need to be and will stop being a joke of a franchise
This right here. If it’s 3rd and long, you want to put pressure on the QB while making the reads harder by narrowing the throw window via CB press. We do the exact opposite. Every. Single. Time
