In the UK, the take up of smart meters for electric and gas has been slow due go concerns that this would enable companies to do the same.

It's not a bad argument (haven't paid, turn it off) but then if you're struggling financially is it better not to be allowed to rack up further debt anyway?

I know it's not the point but a gardener isn't doing shit for £230 a year. That must be a typo, that has to be monthly and if they have a big garden that could be weekly!

Thanks, no worries. You'd think at 50 I'd know but don't really take many pictures, certainly not selfies.

It would have been an elaborate ruse to say the least :). The thing I can't get over are his teeth, they're immaculate lol

Why are the tattoos on the other side of his face in these pictures? (say, the one connected to his eye). Is that something that happens when you take a selfie v normal picture?

Not sure if the initial poster is joking but "foreigner" here and there's no chance anyone would think of the American version before the original, for that very reason.

Now, if someone said "Boston" I'm in the UK so would think we're referring to the original town in the UK but would assume pretty much every other non-American would think of Boston, Mass.

Sorry for the slow reply and thank you.

I'm not even sure at this stage if I can as I understand so little but here goes.

He's what I perceive to be high functioning. In fact most of what they call out I view as being just a little boy. I'm slightly concerned that this attitude comes from my own childhood and whether we establish that I'm also neuro divergent but am keen that I focus on him and not me.

He's bright, good with maths as his mum teaches this. Struggles in class as they're not great at understanding his needs and just see him as wiggly/playing class clown to impress others etc.

He has always had sound sensitivity so people calling that out is interesting to me.

We're working with the school to get better mechanisms in place to support himvand my wife is already amazing at helping him at home.

In my head I need to get onboard too, and transition away from being the typical authoritarian role that a dad may take. I need to understand better what autism is and how to support him

I'm sorry for the slow response and appreciate how much time you took to put this in writing. As I read it, it almost read like the desiderata for autism:

Thanks so much for this. Also the words of wisdom.

Sorry for the slow reply, I appreciate your response and will certainly take you up on it

Does that need to be a truck though? I guess in your situation it does but I can't imagine living so far off road that I need a truck to run to the store.

I do like the concept of Bezos truck (having always felt EV design should have gone in the direction of small efficient low range cars) but feel it won't carry anything that a small estate couldn't.

I see the same but cannot for the life of me understand how the stock isn't shitting the bed. The whole US market is irrational at this stage but Tesla is just ridiculous

How do you know that's a bot please? Is it specifically a hot advertising that online photos hop equivalent? Is it a real software or scam? The whole approach is intriguing to me
