You'll have to elaborate on that, because you're (A) generalizing to a very large group with very diverse views & opinions and (B) rather vague.

Okay. I'll be working off the latest report here, dated July 2025. A 60%+ majority of Jewish Israelis:

  • Oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state.
  • Support "Voluntary" Palestinian immigration from Gaza.
  • Believe that the number of Palestinian casualties in the so-called war is justified.

In addition, slimmer majorities:

  • Oppose peace negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
  • Support full Israeli security control in post-war Gaza.
  • Support the forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza by military means.
  • Support Israel Katz's proposal to relocate all Gazans to a tent camp in Rafah and only allow them to leave for other countries.

I believe I've made my case already, but also note that these all have 7-15% don't know answers, which is fucked up in its own right but also means that if you only count the people with an opinion on the subject you get even worse numbers.

I only knew in my university medical checkup. I'd always wondered why there was a strip of white on color wheels, so that explained that. Turns out that's just cyan.

FYI Germany has been rolling out bullshit already, so that's one out for the count. I'm in a similar situation to you, and I think it's time to give up on the traditional first world. The future for economic immigrants is honestly pretty bleak, but your best bet is either the sane part of Eastern Europe (here's hoping Ukraine pulls through with its democracy intact), South America or somewhere in Southeast Asia if you're looking for a democracy with a decent standard of living.

What we're seeing in Britain (among others) is the logical conclusion of the balance you're talking about. You can't give the government censorship powers with a pinky promise not to use it irresponsibly and expect it to work.

Definitely true, but that's one thing and calling for Palestinians to stop fighting in the middle of a genocide is another. My point is that the declaration in the article isn't saying that even though the headline makes it seem so. This declaration should be seen fo what it is: A vague platitude that doesn't change the fact that they're a bunch of traitors (which, to be clear, isn't restricted to the Gulf; Egypt and Jordan for example aren't much better).

Against my better judgement, what kind of thing would enter the top 20 list?

It's not as decentralized as it should be, but let's not underestimate the effect social media has had on activism and political organizing in the 21st century. It is decentralized compared to everything that came before it.

So do antisemitic people deserve genocide or what? How the heck is this supposed to make sense?

Edit: If bigotry is a deal breaker then they better be checking Ukrainians for Russophobia.

Arab countries and the west want hamas to disarm before the state is created and if the state ever got created they want it to have no army.

This declaration explicitly states otherwise though? You can just, like, go read it. It's pretty milquetoast stuff.

You can't quite beat "gulags were paid bro," but here's more stupidity from the same thread. Apparently Nazis killed all the good communists in 1933. Like holy fuck I thought only Zionists could be this dumb.

Top: TFW when Nazi Germany wasn't Nazi.

Bottom: This mod just removed a rhetorical question because "nobody said that"???

Thread in case y'all wanna see the context. Everything below the first paragraph was added after my response.

One thing Trump tried to do after getting inaugurated was considering Mexican cartels terrorist organizations, and for that he was attacked by Sheinbaum for violating Mexico's sovereignty. But, at least as far as I've read on the topic (whcih is not a lot to be fair), nobody actually explains why that's the case. I mean at a glance you'd think the Mexican government would benefit from such an action, or at least I did. It's pretty obvious to me I'm missing a piece of the puzzle, so does anyone here have it?

Edit: Thanks for the answers. Now it makes sense.
